Camp Program

Your home away from home

When you arrive at camp you will be placed in a 'home group' of 5-7 participants. Two fantastic leaders will be with your group throughout your time at camp. Your group becomes your family for the week. You will eat together, and participate in morning and evening workshops as a group. If you come to camp not knowing another participant  - don't worry!

Engaging workshops

At Camp Micah workshops are not about sitting and listening! Our workshops are active and creative! We learn through play, role-play activities, film, group reflection, music, art, creative prayer, and so much more!

Participants will explore issues of social justice with our amazing staff - who work around the world and at home in various fields.  You will dive deeper into understanding issues and solutions.

Develop your leadership gifts and reflect on how you are being called to make a difference in the world! All while having a lot of fun!

Afternoons are for camp activities

  • We want to make getting to and from camp simple, while at the same time being mindful of our environmental footprint.

Camp Micah offers low cost transportation to and from camp.

Chartered bus transportation is available in Southern Ontario, picking up from Stratford through to Toronto. Bus stop locations between these cities are selected based on participant's addresses.

Van transportation is also often offered from the Ottawa area. Other locations with a large number of participants will also be accommodated with either van or bus transportation where possible.

In areas were there are not enough participants for a bus or van, we are happy to coordinate carpooling where desired.

Participants are always welcome to be driven to camp as well if that is preferred.

Camp Micah is hosted at Cedar Ridge Camp in McArther Mills, Ontario.

Google not found location by address.
  • Our participants remark about how kind and loving the community at camp is. We know a big part of that is the amazing participants that come each year! We are dedicated to fostering a fantastic camp community that is a positive and a safe space for all.

    Camp Micah is LGBTQ2S positive.

  • The cost of camp is $400 + a $50 deposit. This includes 6 days of accommodations, food, and activities at Camp Micah along with your camp T-shirt.

We don’t want cost to be an obstacle. Please contact us to discuss fundraising options and financial support.
