Camp Micah’s program is engaging and inspiring!
Participants will learn about different leadership models, explore their own leadership gifts and reflect upon how they are being called to make a difference in the world. Our staff are active in so many different aspects of peace and social justice! You will dive deeper into understanding issues and solutions.
We do all of this learning through active and creative games, role-play activities, workshops, guest speakers, film, group reflection, journalling, music, art, creative prayer, and so much more!
7:30 - Wake up bell, optional polar bear swim in the lake.
8:15 - Creative prayer that tells us the theme for the day, followed by a hot breakfast in the dining hall.
9:30 - Morning workshop. When you arrive at camp you will be placed in a 'home group' of 6-8 participants. Each home group has two fantastic leaders who will be with you your whole time at camp. During the morning your home group will work together on great activities, games, and challenges to explore the theme of the day! There is time to reflect and share together.
12:30 - Lunch in the dining hall
2:00 -Interest Groups - This is an opportunity to learn a new skill, or to try something you haven't done before. You can choose from a wide variety of options each day - things like rock climbing, canoeing, yoga, t-shirt silk screening, knitting, song writing, and painting. Each day there are 5-10 new groups offered led by our talented staff - so there is bound to be something you love!
4:00 - Free Time - What you do is up to you! Cedar Ridge camp has so much to offer! You can cool off in the lake, try your hand at archery, go mountain biking, rock climbing, or try the high ropes course. You can take a nap in the shade, play music, relax. There are many ways to spend your free time.

7:15 - Evening Workshop - We finish the day with guest speakers, whole camp activities, and great workshops.
